SOUND WEST will unite brands and organisations such as NEC Australia, The Edge (ARN), TikTok, Shopify, Warner Music, Universal Music Australia, Live Nation, Rolling Stone, SAE Creative Media Institute, The Area Movement, Apple Music, ARIA, APRA AMCOS, ACCLAIM, The Music, Purple Sneakers, The Brag, Information Cultural Exchange, Campbelltown Arts Centre who will host sessions, workshops and activations.
NEC Ambassador Dylan Alcott OAM, along with Greater Western Sydney talent comprising hip hop star L-FRESH The LION, multi-platinum Grammy nominated producer and composer Khaled Rohaim and digital NFT artist Serwah Attafuah, are amongst the first to be announced in an impressive lineup of presenters and performers for the event.
SOUND WEST Music + Tech Festival is coming to Parramatta this March 30 – Apr 3 2022. Over 5 big days, SOUND WEST will bring together the biggest brands in Music + Tech from around the globe, through live music throughout large and unique venues in Parramatta. and a 2-day conference at CommBank Stadium.

Proposed improvements to the park include:
a. Conversion of the Onslow street carpark to open space
b. Conversion of the unused reserve near Duck Creek to multi-purpose court, fitness stations and two dog park(s)
c. Extend playing hours of the sports field (through improved lighting and rainwater irrigation)
d. Enabling community use of the sports field outside training and game days
e. New accessible district playground, sensory and nature play spaces
f. Alfred Street cycleway to improve connectivity
g. Provision of multiple spaces to gather ( new picnic tables, seating and public amenities building)
h. Improved landscape and garden beds

Alfred Street Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridge
Council is planning to construct a pedestrian and cyclist bridge over the Parramatta River connecting Alfred Street in Rosehill to the northern bank of the river with a new pedestrian and cyclist plaza at the southern end.
The Alfred Street Bridge was first proposed amongst a number of transport improvements to support higher densities along the Parramatta River between Gasworks Bridge and James Ruse Driv
Good and Bridge Streets Upgrade

Located on the northern side of Granville Station, upgrades to Good Street and Bridge Street are set to offer residents, workers and visitors improved public spaces and amenity. This upgrade will utilise the latest technologies to increase convenience, connectivity and safety, and update the look and feel of the streetscape
Alfred Street pedestrian and cyclist upgrade
Alfred Street in Rosehill is identified in Transport for NSW’s Principle Bicycle Network and in the endorsed City of Parramatta Bike Plan as a priority cycling route. Alfred Street is also identified as a key pedestrian route in the ParramattaWays strategy.
